The Guild Nominated As Venue Of The Year

For the 2nd year in a row, The Guild is nominated as Venue of The Year through Music PEI.
“We are very pleased to get this recognition”, says executive director, Cate Proctor. “The Guild works very hard to provide a professional space and staff for all Island entertainers and artists to utilize as they develop their chosen discipline.”
The Guild has been in operation under its current form since July, 2005 and has become an active venue for developing new shows and emerging artists in both the Gallery@The Guild and in the theatre. It also hosts award winning and/or celebrated national and international musicians and entertainers to its theatre, on occasion.
The Guild is proud to be hosting Art For Music, an exhibition of the visual side of music presented between January 15-30, in co-ordination with Music PEI’s Music Week celebrations.
