Arts Mixers Are Back for 2009

The second series of Arts Mixers at The Guild, in co-operation with The Buzz and Young at Heart Theatre, are returning for the Fall & Winter of 2009/2010. The first mixer of the season will take place on October 28, from 4pm-6pm in The Guild theatre.
“We are very excited to continue this programming after continually successful events during our inaugural presentation”, says Cate Proctor, executive director of The Guild. “From members of the arts communities to business people to related organizations, everyone was thankful for the opportunity and results this event presented to them.”
The Arts Mixer is a FREE exchange information and build their networks for mutually beneficial collaborations. social gathering that provides a great opportunity for artists & arts administrators of all disciplines (theatre, live music, visual arts, etc) and anyone connected to the arts community of PEI to
The event is held trade-show style, where presenters showcase their organization, artwork, current projects, future developments, talent(s) - whatever it is that they wish to promote to those present.
Live music, ticket give-aways and a cash bar are all part of the event. The event is licensed and everyone 19 +years of age is welcome.
Anyone interested in participating as a "presenter" is encouraged to contact Jennifer at jennifer@theguildpei.com or (902) 368-4479 by Monday, September 14 for the October 28th event.
This event will also be one of the final events incorporating Jennifer Long's many talents. Come out to wish Jennifer 'all the best' as she departs The Guild for new adventures as well as meet our new Event Liaison, Michelle Sigouin.
Future events will be held in January & April, 2010. There is no cost to participate; organizations and individuals are welcome to inquire within The Guild at 368-4479.
