The Guild Main Stage

The Gallery @ The Guild is a public gallery that celebrates the talents of artists from all disciplines and strives to promote active engagement of both artists and the general public in the appreciation of the creativity present on our beautiful Island.

The gallery itself is an emerging aspect of The Guild facility which develops programming to engage artists in self-curated exhibitions.  With the development of year-round programming, it brings both excitement and anticipation of future artistic expression & engagement.

Programming of the Gallery @ The Guild is conducted through a Programming Committee via calls for proposals at various points of the calendar year.  Exhibitions may be solo presentations or collaborative, showcasing multiple artists, all in an effort to allow equal opportunity for those artists who may not have a large repertoire of works at their disposal.

The space easily transforms into limitless configurations with the availability of moveable walls and display plinths, making each exhibition unique.

The Gallery is located on the lower level of The Guild and accessible via our Box Office entrance at 111 Queen Street, centrally located in downtown Charlottetown.

The Gallery is often used as our licensed beverage area for theatre events, is open for browsing both before theatre shows and during intermission and is an ideal location for receptions, workshops, artist-in-residence projects and special events.
