The Guild is located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown in what is quickly developing into a cultural district of the city.
The building was built in the 1950’s and has undergone extensive renovations to some areas during the 1990’s and again during 2004 / 05 in preparation for new operations under The Guild.
It is well-known for its 150-seat black-box theatre with a full compliment of professional lighting, audio and staging. For more information on our Theatre, The Guild is wheelchair accessible, air-conditioned and licensed.
The Gallery @ The Guild provides space for self-curated exhibitions from various disciplines of creative expression. This space can be booked in combination with the Theatre or as a separate space for receptions, public presentations, exhibitions, etc.

Theatre and Gallery rentals are under contract for specified events and timeframes, as required. Booking inquiries for events in these two areas are to be directed to the Event Liaison at 902-368-4479.

1st floor: Theatre & Box Office
2nd floor: Guild Admin Offices, Art classroom, one office/multi-purpose room
3rd floor: 13 offices (including storage areas)
Office space is rented under leasing agreements between the Guild and its clients for a minimum period of 1 yr. Alternate timeframes may be considered pending the individual needs/requirements of both parties.
